Use shampoo with Sulfate. I know, I know. Crazy right? But remember when your mom used basic Vo5 shampoo or pantene but your hair flourished . Sulfate is not responsible for your lack of hair growth.
Apply GREASE TO YOUR SCALP! Use blue magic or other similar brands. Grease really promotes hair growth. It keeps your natural hair moisturized and shiny. The natural hair community tends to stay away from products that contain mineral oil or petroleum jelly, but we grew up using products containing those ingredients.
Sometimes it isn’t the hair products that retard your hair growth. In many cases it is what we put in our bodies. Best advice: drinks lots of water, eat healthy, take vitamins and probiotics, and exercise.
Reduce Stress. Stress can attack your mental health ( anxiety) and physical health ( blood pressure) so what makes you think stress can’t attack your hair growth. Take walks, pray, go to counseling , and try your best to get away from stressful events.
Deep condition your hair with your favorite conditioner.
Protective styling increases hair growth dramatically ( when done right). Braids, twists, crochet styles, and wigs are protective styles you can implement in your hair care regimen. Whatever style you choose keep it moisturized, clean, and make sure the style isn’t pulling your scalp too tight. Extreme pulling on your scalp can cause breakage.
