This Youtuber grew garlic in indoors using a container:
Step 1: Grab large garlic cloves. Do not use small garlic cloves because you will only grow smaller garlic cloves.
Step 2: Grab a mason jar or container and add 3/4 of inch spring water to it
Step 3: Place large garlic cloves root side down standing upright in the container . The only part of the garlic that should be submerged in the water is the root.
Step 4: Change water daily. You can place your containers in the fridge, if the weather is hot. (see Tip)
Step 5: Wait until 21 days, then plant sprouted garlic in a drain-able pot with nutritious soil. Water daily. You may place pots on your fire escape, porch, or outdoors etc.
Step 6: Harvest garlic in 6-9 months.
Tip: Garlic prefers to grow in cold weather. They don’t require much sun in the first few months. So start planting your garlic in Winter or late Fall.
